At the End of the World?

At the end of Sojourning in 2015 we had arrived at the small fishing and surfing village of Sagres in Portugal. Known in antiquity to the Trailblazers and discoverers of the worlds’ continents as the ‘end of the world’, we could not help but run along the most south-western cliff edges of Europe.

Cabo de São Vicente – the most south-western point of Europe

At the end of Sojourning in 2015, inevitable questions arise, one which may be something about ‘the end of the world’!

The answer to those questions are found in the question: What race are you running?

From Cairo to Lisbon in 8 months, 27 228 kilometres travelled (just a little more than the distance to circumnavigate Africa), on 3 continents and visiting 26 countries, here’s to Sojourning 2015:

“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

“For who has known the mind of the Lord,
or who has been his counselor?”
“Or who has given a gift to him
    that he might be repaid?”

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.” – Romans 11:33-36
